This framework effectively encourages temporary visitors to establish permanent roots on the island.

Phuket’s economic footprint is substantial, operating at 2.2 times the national productivity rate and contributing 1.4% of Thailand’s total GDP despite representing only 0.7% of the population. International schools act as a catalyst that connects people, capital, and opportunity while serving as a prerequisite for foreign direct investment and corporate executive relocations. The Bangtao/Cherngtalay district currently captures 54% of Phuket’s total residential supply and 30% of the 2026–2030 hotel pipeline, positioning itself as the leading international lifestyle zone. With additional educational assets like NLCS scheduled to open in 2028, the area continues to attract families prioritizing stability, premium amenities, and global connectivity.
